Italian dinners rolls from the town of Mantova in northern Italy are a staple on every dinner table in the village. These dinner rolls are made from Vermont grown Wheat and Texas grown Red Fife.
The dough is made into a thin pasta like sheet and then rolled into a tight roll. This gives this roll its signature swirl of layers. This week we are also swirling the layers with roasted farm grown garlic and herbs!
These staples freeze great, just pop them in the oven for 5 minutes and it will be like fresh out of the oven rolls from our kitchen to your table.
