At Trenchers Farmhouse our mission is to feed the Northeast Kingdom and greater Vermont areas in the safest way possible. In this time of uncertainty and fear we strive to bring our customers and community some peace of mind as well as full bellies.
We are a family run operation that prides itself on transparency. If we do not grow it ourselves, we know exactly where is came from and how it was handled. We talk directly to all of our partnered farmers and millers in order to ensure we are providing the safest food to you. We sanitize our facilities, tools, coolers, and equipment after EVERY use! We always test our sanitizing solution with health department approved test strips before each use to ensure their effectiveness.
Our boxes will be packed following the strictest health standards given by the CDC and Vermont Department of Health. We always wear fresh gloves when packing our products. We sanitize all coolers/ storage containers between each customer to ensure no cross contamination.
We do require that all guest who come to pick up on farm or visit us at the farmers market wear a mask. And at this time we are not allowing farm tours or visits unless scheduled with us ahead of time.
We will also be limiting the number of customers allowed to pick-up at any given time. Just like with our online ordering system, we are offering 1 hour windows for pick-up to ensure that we can serve everyone safely and efficiently. Don’t worry if running late, just text, email or call us and we will work it out together.
We keep a close eye on all CDC and Vermont Department of Health notices and are constantly updating our practices accordingly. If you have any additional questions or want to know more please do not hesitate to ask!
