We are very excited to partner with Vermont Italian Culture Association (VICA) for this special virtual cooking class series! Sunday from 4pm -6pm we will gather together virtually and cook a delicious part of the Italian supper. Part 2 of 4 in these fun cooking class series. February 12: 4pm -6pm
Each week we will be teaching and cooking together a key part to the traditional Italian dinner. Gli Antipasti, I Primi, I Secondi and I Dolce. Join us for 1 or all of these fun cook along classes.
Feb 12 - I Primi - Tuscan Pici in Squash alla Vodka
The art of the hand rolled Pici! Join us for a virtual cook along of this delicious Tuscan style pasta. I Primi are the first course in the Italian supper, typically featuring a pasta or risotto dish. In our 2nd class in our supper series we will hand roll Tuscan style Pici for a lovely fluffy and show stopping noodle. We will then create a delicious roasted winter squash Alla Vodka sauce to twirl with the noodles for a simple and elegant primi!
This is a super fun, good for all skill levels, no special equipment necessary but a rolling pin and food processor is recommended! This class runs about 1.5- 2 hours via Zoom.
