This new seasonal pesto features farm grown cardoons, braised in evoo and blended with our farm grown Basils. 36 month parmigiano reggiano, hazelnuts from Piemontes and balsamic vinegar finish off this delicious pesto which transports you to Nizza in Piemonte in every bite. 

Use this pesto can be used in place of traditional basil pesto but also is great as a condiment or dip, add some extra oil and turn it into the best marinade for chicken, fish, or vegetables, or swirl it through your next homemade loaf of bread. 

Ingredients: Cardoons, Basil, Organic Olive Oil,  Parmesan Cheese, Hazelnuts, Garlic, Rosemary, Balsamic Vinegar, Salt

I just finished a bowl of this that we picked up on our travels through Vermont.

It was the best, most satisfying bowl of pesto I've ever eaten.

I'm home in DC now and almost crying because it's not available to ship. Must have more!

Possibly my favorite pesto! If I have this right, artichokes are a type of cardoon and this pesto has the family trait of making everything taste sweet.
