This savory "pie" comes from the province of Reggio Emilia. Erbazzone is a typical breakfast in Reggio but is also a very famous appetizer/antipasti!
2 layers of our housemade rough puff pastry are filled with our farm grown swiss chard, spinach and kale, tons of parmigiano reggiano and herbs. We are using a special Parmigiano Reggiano that has been aged for 28 month form 4th generation farm Agienda Agricola Bonat . Topped with Nigella Seeds this is our farm inspired take on this classic Italian treat is perfect for lunch, breakfast or anytime!
Ingredients: Pastry Crust (wheat flours, butter, sugar, salt) Swiss Chard, Kale, Spinach, Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, Oregano, Salt, Balsamic Vinegar, Nigella Seeds.
