This savory "pie" comes from the province of Reggio Emilia. Erbazzone is a typical breakfast in Reggio but is also a very famous appetizer/antipasti!
2 layers of our housemade rough puff pastry are filled with our farm grown swiss chard, spinach and kale, tons of parmigiano reggiano and herbs. We are using a special Parmigiano Reggiano that has been made from Vaca Modenese (the heritage white cow of Modena) and aged for 36 month. Topped with chunks of Parmigiano Reggiano and Nigella Seeds this is our farm inspired take on this classic Italian treat is perfect for lunch, breakfast or anytime!
Ingredients: Pastry Crust (wheat flours, butter, sugar, salt) Swiss Chard, Kale, Spinach, Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese, Oregano, Salt, Balsamic Vinegar, Nigella Seeds.
